Hmm...What a wonderful Thanksgiving we had this year! This is the first Thanksgiving since we have been married, that we have been able to share it with family. My Mom and the whole gang were up to spend a few days with us. Addison loved being able to enjoy her first Thanksgiving where she could actually eat and socialize. Boy, did that girl put away some turkey, green bean casserole and mashed potatos! She ate leftovers for a a few days and loved it everytime.
It is hard to believe Christmas is almost here! I am looking forward to this Christmas more than I have any other Christmas. Once you have a child it makes it THAT much more exciting. I am able to see everything through her eyes and she gets so much pleasure out of the littlest things. We got her Christmas presents quite awhile back, but I am just itching to give them to her. I knew I would do that, so I made Chad throw them up in the attic because I wont go up there. As most of you know, Chad is gone right now. But he wont be gone for very long. We are anxious for his return :) Before Chad left we made sure to pull out all the old Christmas decor and put up our Christmas tree. Addison loves the tree. Everytime I turn the lights on she claps and says "Tree!" Surprisingly, she dosnt bother or really mess with anything on the tree. She is very good about it. She also loves to look at lights outside. Although when she see's lights at night she points and says "Tree!" lol, I think she has tree and lights a bit mixed up, so I am working on correcting her. She also says Elmo now, well actually she says Elbo. Its super cute to hear her say it.
Other than preparing for Christmas and missing Chad not too much else is going on. We are planning on having many visitors over the next couple of weekends so that will make time go by that much faster. We are looking forward to seeing everyone :)

One main attraction we wanted to visit while in Savannah was Paula Deen's restaurant "Lady and Sons". I am a huge fan of hers and really, really wanted to go. Secretly, I know Chad really wanted to go too! To get reservations we had to get up really early Saturday morning. They didnt open till 11am, but they started to take reservations at 9:30. We got there at about 8:45 and there was already a line about a block and a half long! And it only got longer. So we waited in line for 45 minutes. Addison was good the whole time we were standing there. After waiting we got reservations for 11. So we ate lunch there and had a really good time! It was worth waiting in line for and I am really glad we went! It sure was an experience, and as a souvenir I got a shirt that reads "Hey Y'all!" :)
